Valley Creek Happening in June and July
The snipe are nesting in June. Our guests can hear their calls and the winnowing of their wings when they make their territorial flights in the afternoon and evening. Stanley is in full swing with rafting trips, both day trips and multi-day trips through the wilderness. Small aircraft are making trips back into the wilderness to carry supplies for the rafters on the longer trips. You can also get an unforgettable flight-seeing ride on one of the same small planes by reservation. Hiking, biking, and horseback riding are other favorite pastimes this time of year. The photographic opportunities abound both for the natural scenery and the wildlife.
